Setting Up Fingerprint Lock on Your Smart Meble Table
This guide will walk you through setting up fingerprint access for your Smart Meble table’s drawer. Before you begin:
- Ensure the drawer is unlocked. If it’s locked upon receiving the table, follow the temporary unlocking method in Step 1.
- Have 3 AAA Alkaline batteries readily available.
Step 1: Temporary Unlock (if drawer is locked initially)
- Locate the small Type-C port on the fingerprint lock panel (usually on the drawer front).
- Insert a Type-C charger (like the one you use for your phone) into this port.
- While the charger is plugged in, gently touch the fingerprint lock sensor with any finger. The drawer should automatically unlock.
Step 2: Install Batteries
- Open the unlocked drawer completely.
- Locate the battery compartment behind the fingerprint lock panel (usually accessible from inside the drawer).
- Insert 3 AAA Alkaline batteries according to the correct polarity markings (+ and -).
Step 3: Enroll Your Fingerprint
- Ensure the drawer is closed.
- Gently touch the fingerprint sensor with the finger you want to register.
- Hold your finger on the sensor until the green light stops blinking and stays solid. This indicates successful registration of the first fingerprint attempt.
- Once you remove your finger, the green light will turn blue.
- Repeat Step 3: Place the same finger on the sensor again, using a slightly different angle (like you would when unlocking your phone). The green light should stay solid again, confirming successful registration from another angle.
Step 4: Setting Complete (Optional)
- The green light will start blinking again, indicating the system is ready to register another fingerprint (if desired).
- You can repeat Step 3 to enrol additional fingerprints
- If you only want to use one fingerprint, simply ignore the blinking light and proceed to use the drawer with your registered fingerprint.
